In most cases, a pickup truck is not a requirement or a limitation when crab or salmon season arrive. But a 4×4 of the sea might be. A SOLAS boat is easy to haul and a boat launch is not necessary. A rigid aluminum hull allows you to drag over oyster beds or barnacles and even safely meet a “friendly” log or two in Puget Sound. Head to the shoreline, beach your boat, and let it go dry.
